The pulley is designed for the newer model Volvo Penta circulation water pump (23059414) and is used on engines equipped with a serpentine/multi-rib belt.

For engines equipped with a V-belt, pulley 3588383 is required instead. If you have another model with a serpentine belt system, pulley 3588385 is required.
